Using Brian Stanfield’s book, Courage to Lead: Transform Self, Transform Society, each week offers a rich discussion on our understanding of leadership and what it takes to be a leader and deep reflections on how you can be effectively involved in transformative change.
Delivered in partnership with ConsciousLead, this program is a 4-month, 48-hour certificate program is rooted in the principles of equity and inclusion for the creation of social and relational justice.
The program sheds light on inequity and white body supremacy as the unconscious bias (and the systemic manifestation of that bias) to give leaders the chance to choose empathy and understanding, leverage nonviolent communication, and begin purposeful healing and transformation.
Delivered through the Adoption Council of Ontario, this 8-week program is offered to parents of adopted children. It is designed to explore how parenting kids who have experienced trauma and loss is both similar and different to other types of parenting.
During each session, concepts such as trauma and loss, child development, attachment, openness, and understanding child behaviour. We explore how families are healing agents for children, and how parents learn how to better respond to kids in ways that help them heal.
