Intake: designed to understand the issues facing the client and their initial goals, as well as to provide general information about collaborative counselling

Counselling: collaborative therapy focusing on learning and behavioural strategies

Consultation: supportive consultation as it relates to mental health issues for a parent, guardian or a professional who wants to learn how to support their child or client

Assessment: process  to understand a person's strengths and areas for growth in areas such as mental health, emotional capacities, and learning preferences

Next Steps: focused session aimed at highlighting the gains of the counselling process, evaluating successes, and pointing to the next steps for the client's health
